Plumb-Tech Design and Consulting Services LLC, previous known as Ron George Design & Consulting Services, was founded in 2003. The firm specializes in designing plumbing systems, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems (HVAC), fire protection systems, process piping systems. Mr. George has an expertise with domestic hot water systems, water heaters, water heater thermostats, mixing valves, hot water temperature controls, temperature actuated mixing valves and other hot water system controls to help prevent scalding and legionella growth in hot water systems. Mr. George also offers litigation support and investigations for cases involving scald burns, legionella outbreaks, fuel-gas explosions and fires and piping system failures. Mr. George has also investigated many dezincification issues associated with piping failures. Mr. George is familiar with all piping systems including: steel, galvanized, alluminum, stainless steel, copper, polyvinyl chloride (PVC), chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC), cross-linked polyethylene (PEX) and polyethylene (PE). Mr. George is also familiar with the joint methods for all the above piping systems including: welded, grooved, threaded, soldered, brazed, heat fusion, mechanical joint and push on type fittings. Mr. George also regularly attends the model code and standard meetings and provides consulting services plumbing codes and plumbing product standards. The company also provides 2D and 3D CAD services, building information modeling (BIM) services and construction coordination services to eliminate contruction conflicts with other trades Design Services Plumb-Tech Design and Consulting Services LLC provides plumbing, mechanical, and fire protection system design services for engineering firms and contracting firms that need assistance with design/build projects. We offer design services that conform to the building codes and recognized design guidelines and standards. CAD Services Our Company is available to perform CAD services for your project in our office or yours. These CAD services could be overflow CAD work that your company has or for a major project where you need extra CAD operators or we can provide complete CAD services. we can also take red line mark ups from your engineers and produce them into CAD drawings or take your existing CAD drawings and update them to be used for as-built or record drawings. We can also take design criteria and provide complete mechanical system design and CAD services with input from the client's engineers. Building Information Modeling (BIM) Services / 3D CAD Our Company is available to assist you in providing 3D CAD drawings for Building Information Modeling (BIM) or construction coordination drawings for plumbing, piping, fire protection, air conditioning systems, electrical systems, structural systems, and architectural drawings. We can also provide two dimensional (2D) and three dimensional (3D) computer aided design and drafting (CAD) services for 2D bid sets or 3D construction coordination drawings for all disciplines: Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Architectural, and Structural. We have worked on numerous projects that have used 3D Cad files to build a 3D virtual model of hospitals, industrial buildings, schools and universities to coordinate various trades and eliminate conflicts or collisions between the various construction trades. Many of these projects have carried large contingencies for construction costs associated with coordination between trades, schedule changes and rework. The 3D coordination drawings significantly reduce rework costs because they build the building in a virtual world and allow resolution of the conflicts and the ability for users to view the building in 3D before the building is built. We can work with your staff to help you meet your design and/or CAD requirements for your next project. If you have any questions please call for square foot or hourly rates.
